EDUCATION AT VLR 

Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for professional credentials are awarded for attendance at the Virginia Leadership Retreat.

For Association Managers

CMCA (Certified Manager of Community Associations)
VLR attendance earns up to 8.5 CEUs for CMCA re-certification.  Teaching at VLR qualifies for two hours of credit earned for CMCA re-certification.
CMCA is administered by CAMICB (www.camicb.org).

AMS (Association Management Specialist)
VLR attendance covers up to 8.5 hours of other industry related education required for AMS redesignation.

LSM (Large Scale Manager)
Teaching at VLR earns 5 points for the LSM application and redesignation.

PCAM (Professional Community Association Manager)
VLR attendance earns up to 8.50hours for PCAM redesignation, or up to 13 hours for the PCAM application. Teaching at VLR also earns 10 points for the PCAM application.


For Business Partners

CCAL (College of Community Association Lawyers)
Teaching at VLR earns 5 points for the CCAL application.

CIRMS (Community Insurance & Risk Management Specialist)
VLR attendance earns up to 8.5 hours for the CIRMS application and redesignation
Teaching at VLR earns 10 points for the CIRMS application and redesignation

RS (Reserve Specialist)
